The HALO Foundation: Helping Art Liberate Orphans

ClubHALO is a club for you! ClubHALO is for American youth who want to learn more about kids who live in other countries, and who want a chance to help others in need. Through ClubHALO, you can learn about kids who are your age who live much differently than you. You can learn about their countries, languages, and needs. ClubHALO participants are encouraged to write and draw about what you appreciate in your own life, and what you are learning about others. ClubHALO is all about compassion. Compassion is being aware of someone in need and having the desire to help. ClubHALO is a support system for those who want to make a difference in the life of someone else.

There are children all over the world who do not have the chance to do the things you get to do every day. Some children don’t even get the chance to go to school, eat one meal a day, or play with toys. Other children may not have parents to care for them. These children are called orphans. Thanks to people who have compassion, the same children are now living in a safe home and have many people who care about them.

Get involved with ClubHALO and host your own FUNdraiser:
Many ClubHALO members have made a difference by hosting their own fund raisers for the children in the orphanages. From hot chocolate stands, to talent shows, to a race for HALO, ClubHALO members come up with great ideas to raise funds. Click HERE for more ideas for fund raisers.
