Denver Satellite Art Programs
The mission of the HALO Art Program is to provide art programs for homeless and at-risk children in the Denver area within a supportive environment that encourages creativity. Homeless shelters are filled with children who have nowhere to go and a lot of empty time on their hands. HALO Art Program sessions enable the children to express their thoughts through art projects and get their minds off the serious issues they encounter on a daily basis. HALO has partnered with The Samaritan House and Father of Judy homeless shelters located in downtown Denver. HALO provides art programs for children in these centers to allow them to express themselves and have an outlet for their emotions.
