Youth can change the world
Change for the World
The HALO Foundation was started by a group of children in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, who heard about the lives and needs of orphans in Mexico. They did a fundraiser for an orphanage and raised $5,000! Their next fundraiser raised $40,000!

Change for the World was started to give youth like you the tools to learn about and help others. Think of the things you like to do and ways you could raise money with your talents. Spencer Castle from Kansas City raised over $600 at a hot chocolate stand when he was 6 years old. That is enough money to build a mud hut for children in Kenya. Jimmy Sackuvich had a box-car race and raised over $1,000 to help kids in need. From a talent show to a dance-a-thon, you can make a difference. Maybe you could mow lawns or help a neighbor clean his garage (for a donation). You can raise change. With the help of your friends and family, you will be surprised at what you can do.
