Be a HALO Intern

Thank you for your interest in a HALO Foundation internship.  We offer internship positions that foster substantial, mutual growth for the organization and the individual.  As a grassroots organization, we rely on volunteers and interns to develop and sustain our services for children in need.

We are seeking self-starting interns with a keen ability to organize and run programs and projects at our centers and offices.  The intern team works directly with the Program Director to launch pilot programs for HALO and ensure that we are improving the lives of more children in need.  Internships require a commitment of 10-20 hours per week and are in the Denver and Kansas City area.  Click here to learn more about current opportunities. Host a Fundraiser

Thank you for your interest in organizing a fundraiser for the HALO Foundation! The majority of funding for the orphanages supported by HALO comes from fundraising events held year-round. We are excited about the expansion of HALO in other cities around the country. Fundraisers help to bring not only much-needed funding for the youth we help to support, but also a great deal of awareness to communities. Contact halo@haloworldwide.org for a fundraising packet to get started today on making a difference!

Start a HALO Branch

For the mission of HALO to spread, we rely on individuals committed to sharing our vision and needs with the people in their lives. With HALO Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, our sphere of influence is limited. Although we have had great success reaching our goals in this location, we have elected to spread our mission outside Kansas City. Committed supporters in cities throughout the United States have shown an interest in starting HALO branches in their communities to help spread our mission. HALO plans to provide the tools necessary for Ambassadors to start satellite branches. If you are interested in starting a HALO branch, email Lacy Voight.

Get your School Involved

Planning a fundraiser or project with your friends, class, or scout troop in fun and easy! Check out the list of ideas for FUNdraisers or come up with one of your own. We will help you along the way. It’s a great way to help others while having fun and raising awareness about helping children in need.

Kids of all ages have participated in organizing and helping out with fundraisers. In fact, HALO started with a group of kids who wanted to make a difference. There is no age limit! Whatever your interest, there is a way to use it to help children in need. Schools and groups have planned events such as races, change jar collections, bake sales, and art supply drives. Whether you raise $10 or $10,000, every dollar will make a difference in the life of someone who needs it. Raising money isn’t the only way to help. Talking to others, including friends and family, can help raise awareness and support for the children HALO helps. Other goods and services donated can make a big difference as well. The possibilities are endless. All it takes is you!
