The Birth of HALO Edmond
HALO’s Edmond, Oklahoma branch was started by Cody Pepper with a goal of funding the Makarere Home in Uganda. This home provides food, water, shelter, clothing, education, art therapy, and mentors for 20 children who once lived on the streets. Cody Pepper started a branch to raise awareness, involvement, and funding to fully support the home. The children at this home will be able to live a life without fear or worry about where their next meal will come from. Cody owns four ICAN Martial Arts Schools in Edmond, and the schools are partnered with the Makarere Home.
Join HALO Edmond
It took one person for HALO to be born, one to write and develop programs, another to donate, one more to start a branch in another town, one to serve as an international HALO ambassador, one to volunteer at an event, one to serve in U.S. residential homes. Each one makes HALO grow. Each one makes a difference. You are one. You can make a difference. The possibilities are endless. To get involved, email codypepper@haloworldwide.org. To donate to the projects of the Edmond, Oklahoma branch, click here and enter “Makarere Home” in the box labled “in tribute to,” or mail a check to HALO Headquarters and write “Makarere” in the memo of the check.
