The Birth of HALO Nashville

Kami Coy and Chris West became HALO Nashville Co-Directors in 2009 and have been working with at-risk children in Uganda for over two years. They have committed to raising funds for the Bukessa Home for boys in Kampala.  Their passion for the children they support is evident in their daily lives.  Chris and Kami are making a significant difference in the lives of the boys at Bukessa.  The children now have a safe haven to call home, a place where they can grow, learn, and develop the tools to become leaders in their community.

Join HALO Nashville

It took one person for HALO to be born, one to write and develop programs, another to donate, one more to start a branch in another town, one to serve as an International HALO Ambassador, one to volunteer at an event, one to serve in U.S. residential homes. Each one makes HALO grow. Each one makes a difference. You are one. You can make a difference. The possibilities are endless. To get involved, email kamicoy@haloworldwide.org.  To donate to the projects of the Nashville branch click here and enter “Bukessa Home” in the box labled “in tribute to,” or mail a check the HALO Headquarters and write “Bukessa Home” in the memo of the check.  Read more about the Bukessa Home here.
